Public Safety partners, Marathon Police, Marathon EMS & Fire Department will host it’s annual Easter Egg hunt. We’re excited to once again host the event at the historic Saint Anthony Retreat Center. We will have separate areas for children age Baby – 10 year olds. Police Cars and Fire Trucks will be on display. Join us Saturday April 3rd at 10am

Tickets can be purchased from any Firefighter or First Responder on the Marathon Fire Department. When will it drop? Make a guess and you can win. Tickets are only $5 or 5 for $20. Winner will get half the pot. View the Barrel Drop Page for more details.
The volunteer Firefighters and First Responders are hosting the annual Marathon Fire Department open house.
Join us Saturday September 5th from 10am-1pm for a station tour, demonstrations and door prizes. Fun Days ride tickets will be given to the first 100 kids that attend.
On May 12, 2009 the voters of Marathon City approved the Village Board’s plan to construct a new fire station at 408 Market Street in Marathon City. The vote was 292 for and 255 against.
The vote clears the way for the Village Board to proceed with the project.
Thank you to all the supporter and volunteers that worked to get information out to the community regarding the project.
The Marathon Fire Department respectfully asks for your support. Polls are open from 7:00 am – 8:00pm Tuesday May 12th. Voting takes place at the Marathon Village Hall
In a special board meeting on March 26, 2009, the Village Board approved the language and the date for the required referendum. The referendum will be held Tuesday May 12, 2009. Public informational meetings will be arranged prior to the vote to provide opportunity for the citizens of Marathon City to ask questions and learn more about the project before voting in the 12th.
The Marathon Fire Department will hold an informational meeting on Wednesday April 22nd. The meeting will be held at the Marathon Fire Station at 7:00 PM. Anyone interested in learning more about this project is welcome to attend. A presentation of the proposed plans will be given as well as a breakdown of the cost.
